Pies de Ciervas en los lugares altos es un libro que relata la historia de amor entre una pastorcita y su rey. Ella es lisiada de nacimiento y está acomplejada debido a su fealdad física y debilidad emocional, sujeta siempre a las órdenes de su familia "la familia de los temerosos" haciendo de ella una persona digna de su nombre "Miedosa".
Para colmo de males ella vive en el valle, en un pueblo denominado "Pueblecito de mucho temor", que lo único que hace es infundir el miedo entre sus ya de por si desgraciados habitantes.
El "pastor-rey" por otro lado es el ser mas glorioso imaginable, Rey de los lugares altos y soberano sobre toda la tierra del valle y las montañas.
Este, en un acto de inmenso amor profeso hacia sus súbditos se despoja de su aspecto de rey y decide bajar al valle con el fin de conocer las necesidades de su pueblo y ayudarlos a mejorar su condición.
Miedosa atraviesa por diversas circunstancias difíciles que un ser como ella no podría soportar sin ayuda de su amado, y cruzando desiertos, mares y peñascos en compañía de sus guías que se convierten en sus amigas "pena, y sufrimiento"; acompañantes que a pesar de hacerle derramar muchas lágrimas a Miedosa, le dan seguridad durante su camino y son parte fundamental en su progreso.
Al final de un largo viaje y de muchas tentaciones superadas, la pastorcita llega al reino del Amor, donde su amado gobierna, y descubre que durante el camino sus defectos han sido sanados haciéndola tan hermosa como el propio rey del que se ha enamorado.

Hind feet on the high places is about a love story between a sheepardess and her king. Since she was born she had problems to walk and She has so many complex about herself thanks to her bad aparience and her physical weakness, always under her family orders "the fears family", making of her a person worthy of her name "scared".
If that was not enough, she lives in a town called "scary town", which the only thing that does is scare its population.
In the another hand the "shepard-king" is the most glorious self you could ever imagin, king of the high places and lord over all the valley and mountains there.
He, in a huge love act for his servants, come down to the valley taking off all his glory and magesty just to know what his land needed and help them to have a better life quality.
Scared, walks thru a lot of hard times that someone alike her couldnt handle without the king and lover's help, walking across deserts, seas and mountains just with her guides "Pain and Suffer" (whose also become her friends) as only company. Company that even tho makes her cry pretty offten, keep her in safe on her way and is very important on her advance.
After a long travel and a lot of tempts on her way, Scared arrives to her lover's land where he regins and discover that all her deffects are taken away in the process to get there, making her as beautiful as him.
